Moth Delusion

A brilliant entomologist, Hapley, locked in a lifelong rivalry with Pawkins, becomes psychologically destabilized while studying moths. After Pawkins dies, Hapley's obsessive conflict finds a new target in an unknown moth that appears to only he can see. The insect becomes a projection of rivalry and obsession, driving him into violence and hallucination, ending in confinement.
